And We're Off!

It's September 12th, 2016, and Will, myself, and our six (count them) SIX total bags are finally getting loaded on a giant metal tube that will take us over the biggest ocean on this earth. The days in California leading up to this were fraught with my usual pre-travel anxiety. One missed flight, and several days with family later, we're ready to get this nomadic trip started. 

It's finally happening! All the planning, packing, re-packing, good-bye saying, money saving, re-packing again... has led to this. It's hard to believe that our wardrobes, house, beds, kitchen, living room, and pharmacy all fit into four checked bags and two carry ons. Especially, as it's been pointed out, considering one of us is 6'2". 

After we basically miss September 13th (who likes September 13th anyways, amiright?) we will land on southern hemisphere soil for the first time and start this crazy trip we've thought for months is definitely nuts, but definitely a good idea. Bon voyage!
