The "Long" Way Home
"What if we, like, went the 'long' way home?"
That's how it starts. Just another crazy idea, which gains momentum and turns into a three month, twelve-country, 15-flight adventure back across the globe. We're coming home! But rather than make the long-haul flight across the pacific, we're going to be eating, beer-tasting, beach-lounging, mountain-climbing, bickering, laughing, hopefully blogging, and loving our way through the following countries:
- Australia (we're already here!)
- Indonesia
- Thailand
- Malaysia
- Nepal
- United Arab Emirates
- Greece
- Italy
- Switzerland
- Czechia (did you know they changed their name to Czechia?!)
- Germany
- UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
It's been planned (mostly). It's been booked (kind of). It's been re-booked (sorry Turkey, our concerned parents sternly and lovingly said, "toot toot you get the boot.")
We'll again meet up with friends along the way, including our first #haffswayaroundtheworld repeat visitor Alyssa! We've got our massive amount of things down to just our backpacks. and will be living off the bare necessities for the next three months. And we'll be attempting (via any time and internet cafes we can find) to keep you all in the loop along the way! So stay tuned as the adventure continues :)
